Oracle Database Administrator

to support and develop business critical databases for gaming.

As Oracle Database Administrator, you master highly available distributed Oracle systems for our gaming products. You rapidly adapt several environments and troubleshoot complex technical problems under pressure with your highly skilled colleagues. Your good interpersonal communication skills in English and Finnish help you to do excellent work as valued member of your team.

Main tasks in the Oracle Database Administrator position are:

Ownership of several Oracle database environments
Research and development of new technologies
Basic maintenance and routine tasks on daily basis
Optimization of database design for performance and sustainability
Development and maintenance projects in coordination with global teams

Skills that do ensure your success in this position are:

Relevant industry experience.
BS in Computer Science or related
Innovative approaches to systems architecture, performance tuning, backup and recovery, high availability and scalability.
Sterling ability to build Oracle database environments
Excellent UNIX skills and a grasp of fundamental computing concepts such as system calls, memory management and program debugging.
Knowledge and experience of running Oracle RAC cluster with 11g and 10g database installations with and without management tools such as GRID and Enterprise Manager, BMC and Tivoli
